I've been having beef with an Internet Con Artist called Imran Naseem for a while now. He has been exposed on my personal blog several times, for selling stolen content to unsuspecting newbies in the Intenet Marketing arena. There's a whole list of people complaining about Imran on my blog, so please feel free to see for yourself. Everything I have written abut Imran can be verified by witnesses and files. Unfortunately Imran has now sought to damage my company's reputation by posting fake Ripoff Read more [...]

With all the commotion around the SOPA and PIPA bills in the US Senate and House, I thought I'd make a small contribution in the form of a WordPress plugin, which will allow you to schedule a date and timeframe in which ALL incoming traffic will get redirected to http://americancensorship.org/ where people can sign the petition against these bills. Just a little something I noticed. Youtube channels used to have one followed link on a user's channel, but after the redesign last week, they have now implemented the rel=nofollow attribute to those links. Is Google sculpting pagerank with their new design? Anyway, if you want to get the nofollow removed, just change your channel back to the old look via this link (when you're signed in) Thanks (in advance) to Wil Reynolds from Seer Interactive for letting me use his Youtube channel details Read more [...]

I've written about Google pagerank vs SERPs and finding fake Pagerank before. Having said that, Quality links are far more Read more [...]
Since becoming a DMOZ editor, I've spent hours going through the editorial guidelines to see what the best approach would be for someone to get their site approved. We all know it can take forever to get listed in DMOZ - if ever! The first thing that struck me when I logged in as a new editor, was how massive the inner workings of the ODP really are. There are loads of active editors in the forums, but the number of un-reviewed submissions is staggering. Here's an example of just the Business Read more [...]
